Village Hall

Hiring the Hall

All bookings for the Village Hall can now be requested through our new booking system.

For repeat customers, please log into your account and make a new booking request.
New customers are required to first register. Once registered you can add and manage your bookings.

Facilities

The Main Hall is equipped with a sound and projection system with TV, DVD and Blu-ray equipment and dimmable mood lighting. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for most functions. The annexe is a more intimate area and is suitable for activities involving a small number of people. The annexe also has a fully equipped bar run by the village committee for the monthly PUMP (the bar is not currently for hire). The lobby has two unisex toilettes – one has disabled toilet facilities and a baby changing station.

The car park has two disabled parking spaces and limited vehicle parking. When using the car park, please ensure that access is not blocked to the private residence to the rear of the hall.


Nash Village Hall Management Committee

The Village Hall is administered by the Nash Village Hall Management Committee (NVHMV), whose members are elected at the Annual General Meeting normally held in May.

History

The Village Hall was built in the late 1850’s or early 1860’s as the Village School. The school was closed in 1948.  It is designated as a Grade II listed Building. The Village Hall is owned by the villagers of Nash and the Deeds to the Hall state that the ”property shall be held for the villages of Nash and neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political opinion for the purposes of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the life of the inhabitants.”
